A double-bill night. Starting with an odissi offering by Prithvi Nayak – an alluringly beautiful dancer, blessed with a body of rare ability and grace beyond words. Rooted in Discipline and tireless practice, she carries within her a burning passion that radiates through every movement. A presence both powerful and poetic.
(A)Rūpa explores the play of form and formlessness. Drawing from the Odissi vocabulary—with its sculptural precision, lyrical grace, and devotional intensity—the performance revels in form. Yet even as the body creates form, it gestures toward the infinite formless— revealing dance as both offering and transcendence.
This is then followed by The Artiste’s Dream by the Temple of Fine Arts – Every artiste carries a dream, of melodies breathing as spirit, of movements whispering as prayer. Woven from past and present, The Artiste’s Dream gently stirs the soul of creation. The Temple of Fine Arts dancers, musicians have carved out a special offering that evokes nostalgic resonance and inspiring moments.
✨ To all art lovers, this double-bill performance is not to be missed
