Biography of Speaker

The Vochale Project (TVP) is an all-ladies a cappella vocal ensemble consisting of members from various vocal backgrounds coming together to celebrate the same passion for singing, performing and teaching. Founded by Ann Salina Peter in 2011, TVP started off merely as a project ensemble just for the ladies and the singing hasn’t stopped since! TVP has proudly produced a few sell-out shows and also A Cappella Night in 2016 featuring Klang Valley’s top a cappella groups. Due to the overwhelming response, TVP went on to organise ‘Jom A Cappella 2016 & 2018 in conjunction with Malaysia Day to celebrate the music of Malaysia through a cappella singing. The recent a cappella summer series Travel Trails: Modes & Scales held in July this year, was also a sold-out show. Besides performing for private and corporate events, TVP is actively involved in various community-based projects by organising a cappella workshops for underprivileged women and children. TVP experiments with a wide genre of music such as folk, jazz, classical, pop, rock, fusion and sometimes, comedy!
